Workshops and Events at Narara Ecovillage

Narara Ecovillage is not only an intentional community living kindly and as sustainably as possible on the Earth. It also offers many workshops and educational events on ways to follow a more sustainable life, business or approach.

There are Village open-days each month and many opportunities to join working bees, Deep-Ecology weekends, planting and picking in the common gardens, community meals, concerts and events.

A community yoga class is offered every Saturday morning by donation. Feel free to join us in the Village Hall just 50m from your lodge.

A Coffee Cart serves excellent coffee and snacks, meals and Daily Specials. Located next to the Village Hall.

Get into Nature

The Ecovillage has its own beautiful dam with a designated swimming spot.

Strickland State Forest is just 200m from your lodge with well-signed trails through the rain forest, a 150year old Arboretum and trails upto the waterfalls,

Narara creek runs through our property with small swim holes suitable for children and you can explore the "wetlands walk" or walk in the "rural lots" of meadows and woods also owned by the Village.

Of course the Central Coast is famed for beautiful beaches and inland water. From kayaking to ocean sailing, fishing, bush walking or surfing there's something to suit everyone close by.
